Hi there!
I'm Amanda, a tech and productivity coach, TEDx speaker, and one of the world's first certified KonMari consultants. Mostly, I'm a big tech nerd with a big heart.
For years I watched smart, busy women get buried by tech that should've been making life easier.
Not because they were bad at it. Because nobody showed them the shortcuts.
My signature course, The Tech 21, contains the 21 simple yet powerful shortcuts I wish someone had taught you years ago.
And the Type B part?
We are not chasing perfect.
(Between my ADHD and my perimenopause brain, perfect left the building years ago.)
We're just here to get through the day with less friction, and feel a little tech smug doing it.
A few more things about me:
I will flat out refuse to eat an Oreo unless it’s a Double Stuf Oreo. #doublestufornothing #dontforgetthemilk
I trained under Marie Kondo. It was very exciting and VERY fun.
I grew up in a really rural part of Delaware. Our phone number was 422-CORN. Seriously.
I’m a huge techie. My idea of fun is learning a cool new digital tool. In fact, after years of helping people de-clutter and organize their physical spaces, I’ve now turned my attention towards helping people get their DIGITAL world into tip-top shape.Think of me as your eager beaver tech-loving cheerleader, ready to save the digital day!
Chile is home-away-from-home for us, and we speak Spanish at home. I met my husband in Chile while doing an internship at an astronomical observatory in undergrad. Years later, I lived there for 2 years and did a bilingual MBA. My very first class was Accounting. In Spanish. (I don’t recommend that.)
We have a beautiful daughter and a ridiculously adorable dog named Junebug. When I’m not talking about tech stuff, I’m usually talking about my daughter or dog. #mustgethobbies
I left a big fancy-pants career to start my own business. Whether it was consulting for international development in Washington, DC, designing executive leadership programs at the Wharton School, or heading up Summer Search Philadelphia to help build resilience in young people, I’ve always tried to do work that makes our world better.
My company is named Indigo Organizing thanks to Isaac Newton, oh and a few others things. Read more about that here.
I live in beautiful Chester County, Pennsylvania. Driving to the supermarket is like driving through the rolling green hills of England. (I mean, I guess it is. Never been!)
I LOVE what I do. Whether it’s sharing free tips on Instagram or teaching courses like the Tech 21, it’s a total HONOR to help people to live their best lives.
